What is the difference between Alibaba, Tmall and Taobao?

 

1. Alibaba is the mode of order. Alibaba is mainly for wholesale (including export and domestic sales), dealers, agents.

 

2. Taobao is a retail-style model. Taobao is primarily retail focused and geared toward end users.

 

3. Tmall store is a new model newly launched by Alibaba, which belongs to mall style retail. It is China's largest business-to-consumer shopping site, spun off from Taobao.com.

 

Alibaba Group operates a variety of businesses and also draws support from the businesses and services of its affiliates to run the business ecosystem. Taobao.com is a large online retail and business area in the Asia-Pacific region. It was founded by Alibaba Group in May 2003. Taobao.com is a popular online retail platform in China, with nearly 500 million registered users, more than 60 million regular visitors every day, and more than 800 million online items per day, with an average of 48,000 items sold every minute.
